Terms of Service

By creating an account, browsing, or placing an order on metibuy.shop you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the platform.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including any orders placed.

Don't share your password. If you suspect unauthorised access, reset your password and email support@metibuy.shop immediately.

Metibuy is a marketplace. Sellers list their own products and are responsible for the items, descriptions, prices, fulfilment, and after-sales support. We verify sellers before they go live and we mediate disputes, but the sale itself is between you and the seller.

Prices, availability, and product details can change without notice. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the seller can accept or decline within 48 hours. If the seller declines or can't fulfil, any payment hold is released automatically.

We display prices in Ghanaian Cedis (₵) inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout.

We accept mobile money (MTN, AirtelTigo, Telecel), Visa, and Mastercard. Payment is held in escrow and only released to the seller after delivery. Cash on delivery is available for selected categories and locations.

Shipping options, delivery times, and the returns process are explained on our Shipping & returns page. Items must be returned in original condition within 14 days of delivery. Some categories are non-returnable for hygiene or perishability reasons.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to violate any law or third-party right.
• Post fraudulent listings, fake reviews, or misleading content.
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security.
• Scrape, mirror, or attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

The Metibuy name, logo, and the platform's code and design are owned by Metibuy Technologies Ltd. Product images and descriptions are owned by their respective sellers. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.

The platform is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of seller-supplied content, or that any specific product will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metibuy is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in dispute.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Accra unless we both agree to mediation or arbitration first.

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email and a site banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that constitutes acceptance.
